The system utilizes a Rycote Lyre suspension to separate your microphone from vibrations. To further reduce noise, the Blimp includes a specialized cabling setup. A heavy-duty Mogami cable is housed within the ergonomic, lightweight handle and splits through a junction box to a flexible, thin cable inside the unit. This design minimizes the transference of vibration directly to your microphone. Setup is simple and versatile. The Blimp attaches to any standard boompole using a 3/8-inch thread at the base. Whether you are recording on location or in a studio, this system provides the stability and protection needed for high-quality sound capture.
