Description
Experience the history of rock with the Mudcrutch self-titled vinyl release from Reprise. This 2008 album marks the reunion of the original members who gathered in August 2007 to record a collection of 14 tracks featuring both old and new songs. As the Gainesville, Florida band that served as the forerunner to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Mudcrutch holds a special place in music history. Following their roots as the Sundowners and the Epics, the band returned to their origins to capture their unique sound on this record. This vinyl release is a must-have for fans of pop rock and those interested in the early musical journey of Tom Petty. Listen to the tracks that define the legacy of a band that once served as a house band, much like the Beatles at the Cavern Club.
