Made from Type I borosilicate glass, the vial resists heat shock and chemical leaching, extending its lifespan and protecting sample integrity under demanding conditions. Each vial comes with a black phenolic cap fitted with a polycone liner that forms a tight seal, virtually eliminating leakage, evaporation and contamination while providing a strong chemical barrier. This reliable sealing system is ideal for a wide range of applications, from liquid reagents and soaps to small biological specimens such as macro-invertebrates.
