Description

Bring your electronic inventions to life with Proto-Pasta Conductive PLA. This carbon-black based filament allows you to integrate functional circuitry directly into your 3D prints. Whether you are building touch sensors, lighting up LEDs, or developing custom electronic components, this material provides the conductivity needed for your next genius project. With a molded resistivity of 15ohm-cm, this filament is much more conductive than similar products on the market. For example, a 10 cm length of 1.75mm filament provides about 2k-ohm of resistance. This makes it an ideal choice for creators looking to solve real-world problems through functional 3D printed parts. Printing is straightforward as the processing is comparable to standard PLA. While it works well on most machines, we recommend using a 4 mm or larger nozzle and printing at temperatures between 220c-230c for the best results. The filament comes on a fully corrugated recyclable spool, making it a great choice for sustainable making.

Key Features

High electrical conductivity of 15ohm-cm makes it suitable for powering LEDs, creating touch sensors, and other electronic applications.

Easy to use with processing comparable to standard PLA, though a heated bed may improve your print results.

Optimized for larger nozzles, we recommend using a 4 mm or larger nozzle and printing at 220c-230c for consistent performance.

Comes on a fully corrugated recyclable spool with standard dimensions for convenient storage and use.

Deep black color provides a professional finish for your functional electronic 3D printed parts.

Note that this filament is more brittle than standard PLA and requires careful handling to prevent breakage.
