Powerhouse Films : From Hollywood to Heaven Limited Edition

Experience the wild history of American independent cinema with this limited edition release from Powerhouse Films. Presented by Nicolas Winding Refn, From Hollywood to Heaven explores the lives of June, Ron, and Tim Ormond. This Nashville-based family spent nearly fifty years creating a massive variety of films entirely on their own without studio support. Follow their journey through the highs and lows of showbiz, ranging from Lash LaRue westerns to the extreme stripper-gore-musical The Exotic Ones. This collection captures a unique era of filmmaking where passion and independence drove every production. The story takes a dramatic turn when a private plane crash leads to a spiritual awakening for Ron and June, changing their path forever. This is a must-have for fans of film history and independent creators who want to see how a single family navigated the industry on a shoestring budget.
