Description

Experience the origin of photography with the Pentax 17, a compact film camera designed for creativity. Developed by Ricoh Imaging/Pentax experts, this camera moves away from fully automatic systems to allow for manual operation. It is an ideal choice for long-time film enthusiasts and new photographers looking to express their originality through the art of film. The Pentax 17 uses a half-size format and features a unique horizontal film advance mechanism. When held normally, it captures vertical-format pictures. This model combines years of technical knowhow with a design that lets you fully enjoy the process of manual film photography.

Key Features

The Pentax 17 uses a half-size format and a horizontal film advance mechanism to capture unique vertical-format pictures.

A newly developed 25mm F3.5 fixed-focal lens provides high-quality optics with the latest lens coating technology.

The 25mm F3.5 lens is equivalent to a 37mm lens in the 35mm format, making it versatile for various shots.

A manual film winding mechanism based on Pentax SLR technology allows for hands-on manual camera operation.

The integrated zone-focus system lets you switch the in-focus area easily through simple selection of zone marks.
