Oxford University Press - The Contradictory Christ Book

Explore a ground-breaking study in analytic theology with The Contradictory Christ by Jc Beall. Published by Oxford University Press, this work examines the fundamental problem of Christology through a unique lens. Beall analyzes the role Christ occupies, noting the tension between the divine, limitless properties of God and the human, limit-imposing properties of human nature. This volume presents a rigorous account of how these two natures appear to demand a contradiction: the infinite nature of the divine meeting the essential limits of being human. As part of the Oxford Studies in Analytic Theology series, this book provides a deep academic investigation into the nature of Jesus Christ and the logical challenges involved in his dual nature.
