Newly remastered for superior sound quality, this Omnivore Recordings release provides a deep look into Dr. Simone's artistry. The set includes new liner notes written by David Nathan, the British ambassador of soul, who recounts his nearly three-decade relationship with the legendary artist and provides context regarding the recording of the album.
