Mepitel 291000 uses Safetac technology to prevent sticking to the wound bed while maintaining a gentle adherence to the surrounding skin.
This silicone dressing minimizes pain to the patient and reduces wound trauma during every dressing change.
The 12 cm x 15 cm size is provided in a convenient pack of 5 for consistent wound care management.
The outer side of the dressing is adherent, which allows for the easy application of a secondary dressing.
Mepitel can remain in place for up to 14 days when used with a secondary pad like Mesorb to allow for undisturbed healing.
Topical treatments can be applied directly through the Mepitel layer while it is in situ.
