Description

Keep your small metal threads secure with Loctite 222 Thread Lock. This industrial-grade liquid adhesive is specifically designed for small diameters and long threads, providing a reliable lock that prevents loosening caused by vibration or movement. Because it is a low-strength formula, it is the ideal solution for connections that require regular maintenance or easy disassembly. This violet adhesive is perfect for delicate applications such as countersunk screws, pumps, gearboxes, and presses. It works effectively on all threaded metal connections, including passive materials like stainless steel and aluminum. The thixotropic properties ensure the liquid stays in place without moving during application. Additionally, this thread lock offers high temperature and oil resistance, making it a dependable choice for demanding mechanical environments where stability and ease of access are both required.

Key Features

Low-strength joints allow for easy disassembly of screws using standard hand tools, making it perfect for countersunk screws.

Designed for delicate parts to prevent breakage during maintenance, especially on gearboxes, pumps, and presses.

Compatible with all metal threaded connections, including passive metals like aluminum and stainless steel.

Provides high resistance to both oil and high temperatures to maintain bond integrity in mechanical settings.

Thixotropic properties prevent the liquid adhesive from moving or running during the application process.

Prevents threaded connections from loosening on their own due to vibration or constant movement.
