Lincolnshire Pond Plants Ltd Lincsplants Elodea Densa - 10 Oxygenating Pond Plants Weighted

Egeria densa, commonly known as pond weed, is one of the most reliable and fast-growing aquatic plants available for both aquarium and pond environments. These 10 weighted stems, each approximately 8 inches in length, originate from the natural habitats of southeast Brazil and Argentina, where they thrive in diverse conditions. Once planted, elodea densa quickly establishes roots and develops new leaves, making it an ideal choice for aquascapers of all experience levels. The plant performs excellently in background positions within tanks 60-80cm deep and adapts to both tropical and coldwater setups with temperatures ranging from 1-28 degrees Celsius. Elodea densa grows at a very fast rate and tolerates a broad pH range of 5-9, making it compatible with soft water systems. With moderate to high lighting and CO2 levels between 10-20mg/l, this oxygenating weed transforms aquatic spaces whilst providing essential oxygen and natural filtration for fish and aquatic life.
