The Laser 8689 is a specialized insulated magnetic pick up tool designed for safe operation near high voltage live circuits. Built to IEC60900:2018 standards, this tool provides protection for operators working with live voltages up to 1000V AC and 1500V DC. The 560mm long handle features a rubber moulded casing to ensure easier handling and improved grip during precision tasks. With a 400mm flexible shaft, you can easily reach small parts in awkward or tight spaces. The magnetic head is equipped with a 12.1mm diameter rubber shroud to protect the 5.1mm diameter magnet. This tool is an essential addition to any electrical toolkit where retrieving fallen components safely is required. Note that while the operator is insulated, caution should be used as any metal object being picked up can still short across live circuits.
