Description

The JHS Colour Box V2 Preamp Pedal delivers professional-grade tone shaping with a three-section control design centred on the gain stage. The master volume controls overall output whilst the pre-vol knob manages gain between internal stages, adding grit, distortion, and fuzz as you increase the drive. The step control advances gain in five stages, ranging from +18 dB to +33 dB for precise amplification sculpting. An output transformer enhances signal integrity, whilst the Hi/Lo switch provides ultra-clean headroom and EQ shift knobs enable precision equalisation control. The pedal safely passes 48V phantom power, making it compatible with condenser microphones and phantom-powered equipment. Deliver 100% available clean signal even on acoustic guitar, making the Colour Box V2 an essential preamp for studio and live applications demanding transparent tone with optional aggression.

Key Features

The Colour Box V2 master volume controls overall unit output with precision gain staging across three dedicated controls.

Five-stage step control increases gain from +18 dB to +33 dB in individual increments for exact preamp level selection.

Pre-vol control manipulates gain between internal stages, adding progressive grit, distortion, and fuzz characteristics.

Hi/Lo switch delivers ultra-clean headroom and EQ shift knobs provide precision equalisation control for tone refinement.

Output transformer and 48V phantom power compatibility ensure professional signal integrity across studio and live setups.

100% available clean signal preservation on acoustic guitar maintains transparency without tone colouration or loss.
