Warner Music IAM - L'ecole du micro d'argent - Vinyl with Download Card

Experience a landmark in French hip-hop with IAM's legendary album, L'ecole du micro d'argent. Released via Rhino and Warner Jazz, this vinyl edition captures the sound that brought the band worldwide fame. The production features unique aesthetic influences from RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, stemming from sessions recorded partly in the USA. This classic record explores realistic and dark themes through powerful vocal performances. Listeners can hear the influence of cinematic history on tracks like "L'Enfer," which utilizes electric piano samples from Lalo Schifrin's music for the movie "Dirty Harry." While the album avoids standard happy ego-trip songs, it offers a deep and authentic look into the genre's history. This vinyl set includes a download card for digital access, making it a versatile addition to any music collection.
