The 36-inch H. K. Porter 0390MC bolt cutters feature drop-forged, precision ground alloy tool steel jaws with center-cut blades.
These center-cut blades are capable of cutting through soft, medium, or hard materials up to a maximum hardness of Brinell 455 or Rockwell C-48.
The advanced toggle joint design converts 50 lbs. of hand pressure into 4000 lbs. of cutting pressure for maximum efficiency.
A dedicated lock plate prevents the jaws from loosening during heavy-duty general plant maintenance tasks.
The screw-type adjustment mechanism allows you to realign the edges to maintain cutting performance over time.
Steel handles are equipped with rubber grips to provide better control and comfort during operation.
