Its 10x optical zoom, equivalent to 37-370mm on a 35mm film camera, lets you frame both sweeping landscapes and far-away details without moving an inch. Powered by a 4G SuperCCD HR sensor with 3.1 million effective pixels, every photo is rendered with vivid color and fine texture, while the camera records at 6 million pixels for larger prints. Creative control is built in. Choose aperture priority, shutter priority, or full manual to shape depth of field and motion exactly the way you want. The CCD-RAW option saves the original sensor data, giving you the freedom to edit later without losing quality. A dedicated photo mode button puts the main menus at your fingertips, so you can switch settings quickly. The S5000 also handles challenging light. High sensitivity up to ISO 800 and a faster autofocus system keep subjects sharp even in dim rooms or at dusk. Whether you are traveling, documenting everyday moments, or exploring low-light scenes, this camera delivers reliable performance with a classic SLR feel.
