Description

Experience two complete 1961 albums by the legendary Frank Sinatra on a single CD. This collection brings together Ring-a-Ding Ding! (Reprise R9 10001) and I Remember Tommy... (Reprise R910003) for a comprehensive listening experience. Ring-a-Ding Ding!, arranged and conducted by Johnny Mandel, earned a five-star rating from jazz critic Gene Lees in Down Beat. It is described as a vibrant and shouting delight where Sinatra belts out his vocals. I Remember Tommy... is conducted and arranged by Sy Oliver as a tribute to Tommy Dorsey, the trombonist and bandleader who was Sinatra's former boss. This Poll Winners Records release is a must-have for fans of classic vocal jazz and Sinatra's mid-century era.
