By utilizing a Graflok rear standard, you can leverage the mechanical advantages of your vintage or professional large format gear with high-resolution digital sensors. This unique shift/stitch adapter mounts the camera in a vertical position. The sliding mechanism lets you move the camera side to side, allowing you to scan the 4x5 back to capture a larger area. This process is perfect for creating a linear array of multiple exposures that can be easily compiled on a computer. This method helps reduce the distortion errors often found in standard spherical stitching, making it an ideal solution for high-precision digital stitching and expansive landscape captures.
