Description

Restore your instrument to its golden era with the Fender Pure Vintage '62 Jazz Bass pickups. These vintage-accurate reproductions capture the original sound of the early 1960s, delivering the signature punch and midrange growl that defined a generation of bass players. Built with attention to historical detail, these pickups feature vintage bobbin construction and genuine original-era cloth wiring to ensure an authentic performance. Engineered for specific tonal characteristics, these pickups use Formvar magnet wire to provide a bright, glassy tone. The inclusion of Alnico 2 magnets helps produce complex harmonics with a warm attack and a less-aggressive midrange. With flush-mount pole pieces designed for even string response, these Fender pickups offer the precise specifications needed for a traditional Fender experience.
