It is the first winch hook capable of being stored directly against your fairlead, which helps protect both hawse and roller style fairleads from damage. Engineered for versatility, the UltraHook works with all steel cables and synthetic ropes up to 3/8 inch in diameter. The precision CNC machined 7000 series military grade aluminum construction ensures a lightweight yet incredibly strong tool, boasting a max load rating of 16,000 pounds. Safety is a primary focus with the integrated secondary safety latch locking feature. A latch locking pin is stored within the body of the UltraHook and can be moved to the hook tip to lock the latch in place. Additionally, integrated EPDM rubber pads provide essential surface protection for your fairlead. This patent-pending design is engineered, tested, and made in the USA to meet high performance standards.
