Description

Ernie Ball Power Slinky RPS Nickel Wound electric guitar strings deliver the tone trusted by world-class musicians including Jimmy Page, Metallica, Eric Clapton, and Slash. These 11-48 gauge strings feature a patented brass wire winding tightly wrapped around the ball-end of the plain strings (E, B, G), which minimises slippage and breakage whilst keeping your guitar in tune longer than conventional strings. The wound strings use nickel-plated steel wire wrapped around tin-plated hex-shaped steel core wire for enhanced durability and strength. RPS technology combines superior tuning stability with extended string life, making these Made in the USA strings an investment in consistent performance and reliability for any electric guitarist seeking professional-grade tone.

Key Features

Ernie Ball Power Slinky RPS strings feature gauges .011, .014, .018p, .028, .038, and .048 for balanced tension across all six strings.

Patented brass wire winding on the ball-end of plain strings (E, B, G) reduces slippage and prevents premature breakage during tuning and playing.

Plain strings benefit from RPS technology to stay in tune longer and outlast conventional nickel wound strings significantly.

Nickel-plated steel wire wound around tin-plated hex-shaped steel core creates durable wound strings (D, A, low E) with excellent resonance.

Made in the USA to Ernie Ball's exacting standards, these Slinky strings deliver the professional tone used by legendary guitarists worldwide.

Enhanced strength construction minimises tuning instability and extends playable string life between replacements.
