Description

Ernie Ball Earthwood Silk and Steel acoustic guitar strings deliver a warm, mellowed tone through a unique construction combining 80/20 bronze wrap wire with a delicate silk layer nestled between the tin-plated, high-carbon steel core and shiny gold wrappings. These 10-50 gauge strings soften both tone and touch, offering a comfortable feel ideal for players seeking warmth without harsh brightness. The silk wrap reduces finger noise and string noise whilst maintaining the resonance of traditional acoustic strings, making these strings perfect for fingerstyle playing and recording sessions where tone colour matters. Crafted in the USA by Ernie Ball, these strings balance the brightness of bronze with subtle mellowness for a distinctive sound that stands apart from standard acoustic strings.

Key Features

Ernie Ball Earthwood strings feature a silk wrap layer between steel core and 80/20 bronze wrap for enhanced warmth and comfort.

10-50 gauge sizing accommodates standard tuning whilst the extra soft construction reduces finger fatigue during extended playing sessions.

80/20 bronze wrap wire delivers brightness whilst the delicate silk layer mellows tone for a warm, balanced acoustic sound.

Tin-plated, high-carbon steel core provides durability and sustain whilst the silk layer minimises pick noise and finger squeak.

Made in the USA by Ernie Ball, ensuring quality construction and consistent performance across all six strings.
