Description

Experience the American premiere of Eloy de la Iglesia's legendary teen crime trilogy with this 2-Blu-ray Collector's Set from Severin. The Cine Quinqui classics - Navajeros, El Pico, and El Pico 2 - represent the most successful and controversial films of de la Iglesia's career, capturing the brutal realism of 1970s and 1980s Spanish juvenile gang dramas. Starring Jose Luis Manzano as the charismatic street kid discovered by the acclaimed Basque writer and director, this graphic neorealist trilogy unflinchingly depicts crime, violence, and drug abuse in its raw, uncompromising form. These landmark films defined an entire subgenre and remain essential viewing for serious cinema enthusiasts and collectors of European exploitation and art house cinema.
