Description
The Elkay 380A-1 Microwave Timer provides high-performance motion detection for efficient lighting control. This unit utilizes high frequency sound waves to detect movement within a detection zone of up to 30 meters. By monitoring changes in these waves, the sensor triggers the switch ON, and automatically switches OFF once the adjustable time interval has elapsed without further movement. Designed for versatility, this 3 wire unit includes built-in Lux level adjustment to measure ambient light and prevent lights from turning on when there is sufficient natural light in the room. You can also fine-tune the device using the sensitivity range adjustment pot. This white ABS timer offers a reliable solution for managing energy use through precise detection and customizable time settings.

Key Features

The Elkay 380A-1 features a detection range of 15m to 30m utilizing an elliptical beam for wide coverage.

Adjustable time settings allow you to set the unit to switch off anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 hours.

Built-in Lux level adjustment measures ambient light to prevent lighting from switching on when the room is already bright.

This 3 wire system requires Live, Switch live, and Neutral connections and supports a 16A load type.

The unit includes a sensitivity range adjustment pot to customize how the sensor responds to movement.

For use with all types of low wattage and LED loads, this timer requires the Capacitor PFCC-1.
