Description

Elixir Strings 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Bass Single String delivers the crisp, lively tone of traditional bronze strings with extended tone life thanks to NANOWEB coating protection. Unlike uncoated strings that lose their brightness quickly, this single string features an ultra-thin coating that shields the entire string from dirt and debris that accumulate between windings, preserving your tone for longer. Players report significantly extended tone life compared to other coated and uncoated strings, so you spend less time changing strings and more time playing music. The .125 gauge offers a smooth feel that is easy on your fingers while reducing finger squeak during both performance and recording sessions, making it an ideal replacement string for acoustic bass players seeking durability and consistent tone without frequent replacements.
