Description
Experience the lost sounds of Bag People on vinyl. Originally part of the early 1980s NYC post-punk and no-wave scene, these Chicagoans brought a compulsive noise-rock sound to the underground. For 40 years, their music remained hidden on lost cassette tapes until this recent rediscovery. This release captures a raw, art-punk energy that stands alongside contemporaries like Sonic Youth and Swans. The feral, savage sounds found in this long-lost cache of tapes provide a powerful listening experience for fans of alternative and garage rock. Drag City presents this essential piece of music history for collectors of intense, historical noise-rock.
