Description

Upgrade your drilling capabilities with the Dormer PFX Long Series Drill. Engineered for high-performance applications, this HSS-E taper length productivity drill features a cylindrical shank following DIN 340 standards. It is specifically designed to handle demanding materials, including steel up to 1620 N/mm2, stainless steel, titanium, titanium alloys, nickel, nickel alloys, and aluminum alloys with less than 0.5% silicon content. This 10xD long series bit is built for precision and durability. The high-speed cobalt construction ensures the tool maintains hardness even during intense drilling tasks. Whether you are working with tough alloys or sticky materials, the specialized design helps maintain efficiency and accuracy. The parabolic flute design and bright finish work together to manage swarf removal and prevent built-up-edge, making it a reliable choice for professional workshops and industrial settings requiring high-quality hole tolerances.

Key Features

High Speed Cobalt (HSS-E) construction provides superior hot hardness for consistent performance during heavy-duty drilling tasks.

The 130 degree special point design enables self-centering and low thrust for easier penetration into tough materials.

Parabolic flute design improves swarf removal and cooling, which is essential when drilling through long chipping materials.

A bright finish helps prevent built-up-edge, making it more effective when working with sticky materials.

Precise grinding ensures high-quality results, allowing you to achieve hole tolerances of H9.

Versatile material compatibility includes steel up to 1620 N/mm2, stainless steel, titanium, nickel, and aluminum alloys.
