Description

Celebrate the legacy of Disney Legend Marc Davis with this deluxe two-book slip-cased set. This collection features a unique perspective on the creation of Disney theme parks, presented through the words of Marc Davis himself. Award-winning filmmaker Pete Docter and veteran Walt Disney Imagineer Christopher Merritt provide a deep look into the life and work of a man who helped shape the magic of Disney. On February 16, 1962, Marc Davis moved from Walt Disney Feature Animation to a new division dedicated to designing Walt's new theme park. These hefty volumes provide a behind-the-scenes look at that transition and his thirty-plus years of animating classic Disney features. Collectors and fans of Disney history will find immense value in this set, which contains mostly unseen concept art from his time as an Imagineer. This is a must-have for anyone interested in the art and history behind the world's most famous theme parks.
