Description

The Digitus LWL splice box provides a professional solution for managing fiber optic cables within 19-inch network cabinets. Designed with 12 LC duplex couplings, this 1HE rack-mounted unit accommodates OM3 multi-mode fiber connections and includes a pre-fitted splice cassette for secure cable management. The 1 mm thick sheet steel housing, finished in grey powder-coated RAL 7035, ensures durability in demanding server room environments. Fiber pigtails are colour-coded to DIN IEC 60304 standards, simplifying identification and patch operations. This splice box functions similarly to traditional copper patch panels but for fiber optic networks, allowing you to consolidate and route fibre cables to switches, media converters, routers, modems, servers, SFP modules, and FTTH/FTTB home input boxes using standard patch cables. The permanent cabinet installation keeps fibre connections organized and protected whilst maintaining easy access for maintenance and reconfiguration.

Key Features

The Digitus splice box features 12 LC duplex couplings that support OM3 multi-mode fiber connections for high-speed network applications.

Occupies only 1HE of 19-inch rack space, maximising cabinet density whilst providing dedicated fibre cable management and patching.

Includes pre-fitted splice cassette designed to securely house and organise fibre pigtails with DIN IEC 60304 colour coding for quick identification.

Robust 1 mm thick sheet steel housing with grey RAL 7035 powder-coat finish protects connections in server rooms and network facilities.

Enables patch connections from fibre cables to switches, media converters, routers, SFP modules and FTTH/FTTB equipment using standard patch cables.

Permanently installs in network cabinets to bundle converging fibre optic cables, providing centralised signal routing comparable to copper patch panels.
