Description

Experience the raw and volatile sound of Dazzling Killmen with the Serpentarium Green Vinyl edition of Dig Out The Switch. Originally released in 1992, this album captures the band in a formative state, pushing hardcore music to its limits. This specific pressing from SKiN GRAFT Records includes an Obi strip for collectors. Engineered by Steve Albini and produced by Jeff Tweedy, the record offers a unique sonic landscape that is equal parts pensive and panicked. While it features the unmistakable DNA found in later works like Face of Collapse, this album utilizes longer silences and stranger structures to create a distinct atmosphere. Listeners can hear Darin Gray's bass providing geometric melodic slabs that anchor the chaos, while Blake Fleming's drumming provides a sense of constant, twitching movement.
