Description

Upgrade your bass tone with D'Addario XL Chromes ECB81SL flat wound strings. These super long scale strings are designed for players seeking a specific sonic profile that differs from standard round wound options. By using a flattened ribbon wrap wire, these strings deliver a mellow and warm sound that sits perfectly in any musical mix. Each string is precisely polished to provide an incredibly smooth feel under your fingers, reducing finger noise while enhancing playability. The stainless steel construction ensures a dark, rich tone that remains consistent throughout your performance. Built with D'Addario's proprietary Hex-Core technology, these strings offer reliable durability and perfect intonation for serious musicians. Whether you are recording in a studio or performing live, the XL Chromes provide the smooth texture and vintage-style warmth you need. These strings are made in the USA and come in a recyclable VCI bag. Plus, you can register your set to earn Players Circle reward points.
