Crankbrothers Mallet Trail BOA Cycling Shoes - Black/Gold, 7 UK

The Crankbrothers Mallet Trail BOA cycling shoes combine trail-specific engineering with practical versatility for mountain bikers. Featuring a stiff fibre-reinforced nylon shank that transfers power efficiently to the pedals, these shoes deliver responsive performance on technical terrain. The aggressive lugs provide confident grip during hike-a-bike sections, whilst the extended heel offers additional support and balance when walking. The MATCH box design features a ramped cleat interface for easy pedal entry and effective mud shedding, with an extended 35mm cleat track that allows rearward positioning for enhanced control during descents. Pre-installed with a crankbrothers Match shim and cleat, the shoes arrive ready to ride out of the box. The MC1 rubber compound offers mid-friction characteristics for smooth entry and exit, and the balanced traction outsole performs well both on and off the bike. The package includes switchable cleat shims for compatibility with Mallet Trail, Candy, Mallet E, and DH pedals, allowing you to fine-tune your shoe-pedal setup for optimal performance.
