This collection captures two pulsating shows performed by the legendary Stax Records roster at the 5-4 Ballroom in Los Angeles during a period of significant social unrest in 1965. Featuring iconic artists such as Rufus Thomas, Booker T. and the M.G.'s, William Bell, Carla Thomas, and Wilson Pickett, these recordings bring the spirit of the era to life. This release has been newly mastered by Joe Tarantino, with high-quality lacquers cut by Jeff Powell at Take Out Vinyl.
