Description

This collection features the legendary lineup of pianist Kenny Drew, bassist Paul Chambers, and drummer Philly Joe Jones. This specific trio would famously become the rhythm section for John Coltrane's iconic Blue Train album just one year after these sessions. As part of the OJC Series from Craft Recordings, this edition is designed for serious audiophiles. The record is pressed on high-quality 180-gram vinyl at RTI to ensure superior playback. To maintain the original warmth and character of the 1956 recordings, the audio features all-analogue mastering from the original tapes by Coherent Audio. This release comes housed in a Stoughton Tip-On Jacket, providing a high-quality physical presentation for your collection.
