Description

Upgrade your astronomical observations with the Celestron SkySync GPS Accessory. This 16-channel module provides your computerized telescope with precise time, date, and location data directly from orbiting global positioning satellites. By automating these settings, you eliminate the need to manually enter approximate data into your hand control, which helps streamline your setup process in the field. For astrophotographers, this device offers a significant advantage. Improved location and time accuracy lead to better telescope performance, resulting in a noticeable difference in your astroimages. The SkySync is designed for ease of use and portability. It plugs directly into your telescope's hand control or an available auxiliary (AUX) port on your drive base. To keep your workspace organized, the unit includes straps so it can be mounted to a tripod leg, keeping it safely out of the way during your session. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced observer, SkySync helps you spend less time on configuration and more time exploring the night sky.
