Description
Experience the wonders of the night sky with the Celestron Omni 56mm eyepiece. This 2-inch low power eyepiece is specifically designed for observers who want to explore the vastness of deep sky objects. By combining a long focal length with a wide field of view, it allows you to see more of the cosmos in a single glance. This eyepiece is an ideal companion for telescopes with longer focal lengths, such as Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrains and EdgeHD models. It is optimized for viewing breathtaking targets like the Andromeda Galaxy, the Orion Nebula, and various star clusters like the Pleiades. The 4-element Plossl design ensures sharp views across the 47 degree apparent field of view, making it a versatile tool for both celestial observation and daytime terrestrial viewing. With superior light transmission provided by fully multi-coated optics, you can expect brighter, clearer images during your viewing sessions. Whether you are tracking nebulae or scanning galaxies, the Omni 56mm provides the clarity and wide-angle perspective needed to bring the deep sky to life.

Key Features

ULTRA-LONG 56mm FOCAL LENGTH: Provides low power views in telescopes with a long focal length, making it perfect for wide-field deep sky objects or daytime terrestrial vistas.

4-ELEMENT PLOSSAL DESIGN: Delivers sharp views to the very edge of the 47 degree apparent field of view for a high-quality optical experience.

FULLY MULTI-COATED OPTICS: Offers excellent light transmission to help you get brighter images and more out of every single viewing session.

COMFORTABLE VIEWING: Features a generous 52mm eye relief and a fold-down rubber eyeguard for pleasant viewing, whether you wear eyeglasses or not.

MAXIMUM CONTRAST: Built with blackened lens edges to help ensure high-quality image performance during your observations.

DEEP SKY OPTIMIZED: Specifically suited for viewing star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies in telescopes like Schmidt-Cassegrains and EdgeHDs.
