Description

Experience the pre-Afghan/Greatcoat UK underground sound with Ote Sho'Digs by The Ultra Smooth Swagger Band. Originally recorded in 1972, this LP brings together eight tracks carefully recovered from the original tape. The music merges Neil Young-esque west-coast jams with melodic progressive twin-guitar styles reminiscent of Help Yourself and Man, alongside propulsive Pink Fairies style rockers. This release captures a specific era of underground music, opening with the impactful "Turn Me on Dead Man" and concluding with the massive 11-minute guitar-fest "It Grows on You". It is a must-have for collectors of vintage progressive rock and psychedelic sounds. This new store stock from BRIGHT CARVINGS delivers an authentic trip through 1970s UK underground music.
