Description

The Audio-Technica U857QL is an 18.94" cardioid condenser gooseneck microphone engineered for professional sound reinforcement, recording, and broadcasting applications. This quick-mount microphone connects directly to panel- or desk-mounted XLRF-type connectors, eliminating the need for external power modules thanks to self-contained phantom-powered electronics. The UniGuard technology provides exceptional immunity from radio frequency interference, whilst the 80 Hz low-cut UniSteep filter reduces unwanted low-frequency noise. The ultra-flexible small-diameter gooseneck features virtually no memory, allowing rapid repositioning without permanent creasing. Superior off-axis rejection minimises feedback and maximises gain before feedback occurs. The microphone accepts interchangeable elements available in cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and UniLine line cardioid polar patterns, making it adaptable to various recording environments and applications.
