Description

The Audio-Technica ES947 is a professional cardioid condenser boundary microphone engineered for discreet installation in ceilings, panels, and tables up to 65mm thick. With its hemispherical cardioid pattern and minimal 30mm diameter footprint, this microphone delivers balanced, low-impedance audio from a fixed-charge condenser design. The ES947 requires just a 24mm diameter mounting hole and sits only 10mm above the surface, making it ideal for conference rooms, boardrooms, and installed audio systems where aesthetic integration matters. Featuring a frequency response of 30-20000Hz and sensitivity of 7.9mV/Pa, it handles the full spectrum of speech and music with clarity. Two supplied isolators reduce vibration transfer, whilst the integral 3-pin connector accepts 9-52V phantom power for flexible system integration. The overall 80mm length and compact profile ensure the ES947 remains virtually invisible whilst providing professional-grade audio capture from its cardioid pickup pattern above the mounting surface.
