Description
The AKG D112 MKII continues a legendary legacy as an industry-standard bass drum microphone. Built for professional percussionists and sound engineers, this dynamic microphone delivers the punchy EQ and powerful low-end response that has made the D112 name famous on stages worldwide for over 30 years. Engineered to handle extreme environments, the D112 MKII can manage more than 160 dB SPL without distortion. Its large diaphragm is designed with a very low resonance frequency, providing a solid and authoritative response below 100 Hz. This makes it an ideal choice for capturing the deep, impactful tones of a kick drum with precision. This updated version features a new integrated flexible mount, adding extra versatility for different setups. To ensure clean audio, an integrated hum-compensation coil keeps noise at an absolute minimum. Whether you are recording in a studio or performing live, the D112 MKII offers the bulletproof construction and reliable sonic performance required for high-pressure professional use.
