Description

Discover rare soul gems with the Ronnie McNeir - Makes A Move LP on vinyl, released by Ace Records. This collection features previously unreleased tracks found within Mickey Stevenson's extensive master tape collection. While eleven tracks appeared on his RCA LP, ten additional recordings were held in the vaults until now. This LP provides a deep dive into McNeir's 1971 sessions with Mickey Stevenson's production company. Listen to the urgent and exciting funk sound of the title track, 'Let's Make A Move,' composed with Andre Moore. You will also find 'I'm Sorry,' an earlier version of 'Gone Away' that lacks the female singer's vocal response track found on the 1972 RCA release. This record is a must-have for soul fans, especially those who admire McNeir's work in Europe.
