The AA1432 is a solar-powered trickle charger designed to maintain your car battery's charge when the vehicle sits idle or during periods of light use. Vehicle batteries naturally lose charge through parasitic drain from alarm systems, central locking, and onboard computer systems. This 4.8W solar unit combats that gradual discharge, keeping your battery in healthy condition. Ideal for cars, caravans, boats and similar vehicles, the AA1432 works best when positioned in direct sunlight. It includes battery clamps and an EOBD connector for easy installation. Note that this trickle charger is designed for maintenance only and cannot restore fully discharged or faulty batteries. For dead batteries or vehicles stored out of direct sunlight, a more powerful standard charger may be required.
