Anderson Entertainment The Secret Service Collector's Edition Blu-Ray [Region Free]

Discover the most unusual and fascinating corner of the Gerry Anderson catalogue with the definitive collector’s edition of The Secret Service – the last ever Supermarionation series, presented in HD for the very first time and packed with brand-new documentaries, archive material and exclusive bonus content. Blending puppetry with live-action performers, eccentric British humour and a wonderfully bizarre espionage premise, The Secret Service is unlike anything else in the Anderson canon. Follow Father Stanley Unwin as he secretly works for BISHOP (British Intelligence Service Headquarters Operation Priest), using the revolutionary Minimiser to battle threats to national security – with the help of his gardener Matthew and a spot of Unwinese, of course! With its short 13-episode run and historically limited exposure, The Secret Service remains one of Gerry Anderson’s most intriguing and underappreciated productions. This limited collector’s edition gives the series the presentation it deserves, bringing it to high definition for the first time following a meticulous restoration by the same team responsible for the HD restorations of Joe 90 and Captain Scarlet. Whether you're a lifelong Anderson fan or discovering The Secret Service for the first time, this is the definitive way to experience the final chapter of the Supermarionation era.
