A journey into the heart of French repertoire, reimagined through their distinctive artistic worlds and the unique connection they share as a couple. Featuring the French Republican Guard Orchestra and a jazz quintet, A La Francaise is an elegant and refined tribute, at the crossroads of classical music, jazz, and Eastern influences. This album beautifully and sincerely captures the duo's artistic and personal bond, driven by a shared emotion and a desire to share with audiences an essential part of their story. With this album, the two artists unveil a work that is both intimate and masterful, conceived as a dialogue between two musical heritages and two complementary artistic sensibilities. The repertoire brings together some of the greatest classics of French repertoire - Que je t'aime, La Boheme, La Javanaise - approached with deep respect for the original works while offering them a reinterpretation that is both sweeping and cinematic. Hiba Tawaji's remarkable voice, both powerful and exquisitely sensitive, elevates these songs through a profound and luminous performance, revealing their full emotional depth with infinite delicacy. Meanwhile, Ibrahim Maalouf's arrangements uncover new shades and dimensions, fusing orchestral grandeur, jazz freedom, and Eastern influences. Tracklisting>> 1. La boheme 2. Fais-moi une place 3.
