Description

The Arctic Hayes GT3 Gas Torch is a versatile, cylinder-mounted brazing and soldering torch designed for fast, effective heating across a range of plumbing, HVAC, and general workshop tasks. It features 3 interchangeable burner tips for different flame configurations and levels of concentration, along with piezo ignition, a flame regulator, flame lock for continuous use, and a durable aluminium body. The torch uses a standard CGA600 thread and is designed for use with Map-X and propane gas cylinders. The included Map-X gas canisters are 400g non-refillable cylinders formulated for high-temperature applications. The Vortex Map-X gas burns hotter than propane and up to 10% hotter than other Map-style gases, making it suitable for brazing, soldering, and other demanding heating jobs. These canisters are part of the Vortex brazing range and are intended to pair with compatible Arctic Hayes torches such as the GT3. Safety note: use only in a well-ventilated area, keep combustible materials clear, and disconnect the torch from the cylinder when not in use.
