Puig 22731W Z-Racing Windscreen optimised aerodynamics, Transparent

The Z-Racing Windscreen is designed for motorcyclists seeking a more aggressive aesthetic along with a real improvement in aerodynamic protection. Measuring approximately 380 x 265 mm and taller than a standard windscreen, it increases frontal coverage without compromising visual integration or the overall aerodynamic performance. Its design incorporates a double height and specific side channels that collect airflow and redirect it outwards, reducing pressure on the windscreen and upper torso. This development has been validated through virtual wind tunnel testing, achieving a significant improvement in protection both in an upright riding position and during sporty riding. Made of 3 mm high-impact acrylic, it offers structural strength, lightness, and protection against scratches and ultraviolet radiation, while maintaining transparency that enhances visibility. The rounded edge, with a profile exceeding 2 mm, increases safety and meets the requirements of the German TÜV standard. Designed and manufactured in Barcelona using advanced technologies, it is installed using the original hardware and includes detailed instructions along with the corresponding comparative aerodynamic study. It may be eligible for ABE general roadworthiness certification depending on the specific part number; this information can be verified in the relevant documentation.
