The Road to Antarctica: Novel 2 in the Capital of Antarctica series: Part Three of Three (Capital of Antarctica - paperbacks)

The epic journey and city-founding venture continues! After his first expedition to the great white continent of perpetual cold, ice, swaying bands of light in the sky, and the katabatic winds, Auz, now a young man, knows exactly what he must do there. Returning to the colonized realms of the Earth, he continues his instinctive search for those who share his interests and dreams, finally starting to meet more unique people and humanoids like him. Much of his time is spent shaping his first couple of squads of employees, though; a vigilante group operating out of a bunker near the Continental Divide, and a team of military contractors who find their revolutionary assignment beneath the sands of Syria. As the world economy continues to deteriorate, Auz realizes why, and that his two teams must expand to prepare many others for the exodus that is soon to come. This installment in the saga features some of the first 'calls' out to specific people, letting them know it is time to team up at last, and once and for all; though it will take multiple meetings for a while, these are not the past times of temporary and mortal teams. There are also many encounters which at first seem to be just chance, but are later understood to be soft-disclosure foreshadowing far more. The way the protagonist interacts, i.e. defaulting to best manners, good standards, and offering enough to determine if he and others are "soul tribe", should make it obvious I do my best to be engaging, thoughtful, and brave. This is a closer look at my default template of positivity --not mindlessly to all things, but to those who clearly deserve such. It is not to be a 'social butterfly', but to honor as many as possible, even during fast-paced chapters of life. It is an evolution toward the amount of mingling, networking, and teamwork foreseen as the best and natural amount for the Inisfree phase of life. This was not an attempt at making friends, or escapism. It was a success at using high-tech means to find and be friendly to people, 'breaking the ice'. It was a success at sharing knowledge with them and others. It was a success at overcoming artificial poverty and other limitations wrongfully kept in place by foolish tyrants who are now reduced to shadows of their former selves. This was not a failure to focus on one thing and master it; it was the success of trying many things in order to determine which are right for me. Many conversations were left unedited, including leaving their original chatroom font colors. Many ideas were included without weaving them into the surrounding paragraphs. This is to share real "raw" experiences and developments, and to give an idea of how many overlapping fields of study and trains of thought there were. No matter what I focused on, ideas for many different things kept coming, day and night, and I chose to honor each, making time for them all. If I attempted to proofread and edit everything, it would dramatically prolong its release to readers, and it would do the literary equivalent of sharpening the knife too long; too much time on the whet stone eventually stops restoring the edge... and begins shrinking the whole blade.
