A Lifetime in verse (50 SHADES OF JAY)

Welcome to A Lifetime in verse. Each year of my life is fresh in my mind, in my memory. I am never able to recall every single moment that I have experienced but over the years I have found myself putting pen to paper and writing poetry about the general essence of the memories that reside within Me. I have used poetry and verse as a way to organise my mind when it has got lost and out of control. I have no idea how other minds work, only my own and trust me when I say, my mind works overtime. I have spent my entire life with an over active mind - I think, I think about everything. I think about the past, the present and and the future and there came a point in my life when my mind exploded and there were thousands of conversations taking place all at the same time. It was the beginning of a mental breakdown that fortunately I was able to take back control of the reigns by practicing Mindfulness! During this time I also discovered a Guru who taught me Self-Realisation, a Guide who taught me faith and trust and I became aware of an Angel of the Light in my Life who taught me how to Breathe. I read, I studied and I wrote all my thoughts down over the years and mostly I scribbled on note books just to get it all out of my head but one day, during the covid lockdown, I decided to digitalise all my work and I spent the following five years formatting everything. Over the last few years I have created a database of my entire life, pictures, thoughts, feelings, ideas, intentions, dreams and desires and I have been publishing stories and books about my journey on Amazon because it just seemed like the right thing to do.. This is my 5th project that I have created mostly for my own growth and attempt to know myself as I journey through this game called life but also as service to You. This is not a novel, this is a raw journey through the life of Me. It is not complete, it is not for the faint hearted, it is a doorway into my Soul and a trigger that will enable me to recall my entire life if anyone should decide to take an interest in it. I am here if you need me to be, with Love.
