Volume I establishes the foundational ontology and core architecture across four parts and 70 fascicles: Part I Foundational Ontology The paradigm shift from EDIFACT-era distribution to NDC and ONE Order. Record authority, offer engine foundations, order management, and the canonical glossary that governs the entire work. Part II Pricing Architecture Continuous pricing, dynamic pricing models, willingness-to-pay, revenue integrity, fare families, attribute-driven price calculation, real-time revenue steering, and pricing governance. Part III Product & Offer Ontology Bundling, dynamic packages, ancillary retailing, upsell logic, subscription models, loyalty and identity graph use, CLV-based optimization, merchandising architecture, and corporate offer structures. Part IV Distribution Architecture Direct channel evolution, distribution cost economics, channel conflict, aggregator dynamics, metasearch architecture, OTA transparency, corporate distribution, interline and codeshare mechanics, and omnichannel models. Each fascicle is self-contained. There is no required reading order. The reader begins with whatever structural question they carry and follows conceptual threads as they emerge.
