All The Devils Besought Him (Church South)

Entering the territory of the Gadarenes, the people of Decapolis lived apart from Christ, but many also lived in separation from Legion. A man of immense, spiritual strength having been possessed with numberless demons, his moaning and shuttering pain could be heard isolated from the community. He was alienated, living among the dead. In chains and shackles, his skin was torn by his own doing, a reflection of the internal struggle between two worlds. That of the underworld and that of the earth. That of humanity and that of demoniacs. As Christ arrives, the Presence of God truly encounters with peace those most disturbed. As the man known as Legion flees from his imprisonment, he is drawn to the side of Jesus. Cantankerous, pitiful, and evil minions of Satan cry out when they see The Prince of Peace appear. The many were then cast out of the suffering man and thrown into the herd of wild hogs, where they trampled themselves down over the cliff to their death. A renewed and born again soul, the lunatic is tamed, sitting by the feet of Jesus. Fully healed. Fully restored. Preached for Wallace Methodist Church, the townsfolk are greatly afraid when they see the once terrorizing figure become a disciple. Over this, they insist that Jesus Christ leave their coast at once. The 251st publication, what great things of God were done and this was the man's testimony to be told. How wonderful a touch of God resurrected this person, and how graceful a Word from God is embraced by this retelling. Those blessed things of God must be promoted, even to the Gentiles, even to the Jews. For the Spirit has testified: saying this is truly the Son of Man most high.
